A World Bank task team mission under the “Smart Government II” Project, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications (MDDIC), was conducted in Ulaanbaatar on 3 - 4 June.

During the mission, the delegation, led by Mr. Taehyun Lee, World Bank Country Manager for Mongolia, and Ms. Jennifer Gui, Task Team Co-Leader, was received by Ms. Ch.Nomin, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications, and Mr. B. Myagmarnaran, Acting State Secretary and Chair of the Project Steering Committee, together with relevant officials. The meeting provided an opportunity to review progress in project implementation, discuss key challenges, and consider the way forward.

The World Bank task team mission also held consultations with the National Data Center, the Public Computer Security Incident Response Team, the General Authority for State Registration, and relevant consultants. These discussions focused on the implementation status of priority subprojects, budget utilization, and the overall performance of ongoing activities.
