The Government of Mongolia launched open data portal a month ago. During the launch the number of data sets was 37, it was increased to 75 data sets within one month. Public servants for ministries are publish data by themselves.

Leading ministries in opening data are Ministry of Education, culture and science, Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, Ministry of Road and Transportation, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.
